Next Steps

What are the next steps once we've chosen Handy Dads Home Remodeling, LLC to complete the work?

  1. Your estimate must be signed to get the process moving

  2. An amount needed to start the project is provided based upon project size and anticipated material expenses. Additional payments may be required at different stages with the final payment due upon project completion or passing final inspection.  

  3. Your project manager is assigned

  4. A start date is determined

  5. The initial payment is collected, and permits are applied for (if required). If CAD drawings and/or engineering services are needed, they will be scheduled

  6. If homeowner is required to bring products/items to the project, they will be listed in the estimate. Measurements and quantities will be provided as needed. All required products/items must be at the job site for work to begin or shortly thereafter. If requested, your PM will pick up heavier items from local suppliers once products are purchased. A supplier list will be provided

  7. Materials are ordered, delivery dates and times will vary. If required, a dumpster will be scheduled and placed at the job site for debris removal

  8. Your project begins. Please know that construction is a process with many elements and moving parts.  Occasionally there are delays beyond our control. Patience is always appreciated.

  9. Once your project is underway, all questions and communication for items such as home access, scheduling, project progress updates, etc., will be coordinated and handled through your project manager.  His contact information will be provided

  10. When your project is complete, we invite you to step back, relax, and take in your new space. Take a moment to appreciate what's been accomplished :)  After job completion, we will kindly ask for your valuable feedback and a review of your experience with our company, which will be shared with other customers
