Next Steps

What are the next steps once we've chosen Handy Dads Home Remodeling, LLC to complete the work?

  1. Your estimate must be signed to get the process moving

  2. A start date is determined

  3. Your project manager is assigned

  4. An amount needed to start the project is determined based upon project size and anticipated material expenses.  Additional payments may be required at different stages with the final payment due at project completion or upon passing final inspections.  Also, if CAD drawings and/or an engineering is required, they will be scheduled

  5. The initial payment is collected, and permits are applied for (if required).  You will be informed during the initial visit if a permit is needed

  6. If you’re required to bring materials to the project, they will be listed in the estimate.  Measurements and quantities will be provided as needed.  All required material and supplies must be at the job site for work to begin.  If requested, your PM will pick up heavier items from suppliers once products are purchased.  A supplier list will be provided

  7. Materials are ordered, delivery dates and times will vary.  If required, a dumpster will be scheduled and placed at the job site to remove demoed debris

  8. Your project begins.  Please know that construction is a process with many elements and moving parts.  Occasionally there are delays beyond our control.  Patience is always appreciated.

  9. Once your project is underway, all questions and communication for items such as home access, scheduling, project progress and updates, etc., will be coordinated and handled through your project manager.  His contact information will be provided

  10. When your project is complete, we invite you to step back, relax, and take in your new space.  Enjoy what you’ve accomplished :) At that time, we will kindly ask for your valuable feedback and a review of your experience with our company, which will be shared with other customers
